It’s officially September and the final quarter of the year has begun. We have all sorts of exciting things planned for you for the coming months, so we wanted to share key dates, upcoming events and things to look out for.
Surveys are a vital way of understanding where our industry is at, especially as we move out of the pandemic and come to understand the impact of Covid-19, Brexit and the cost of living crisis. This year we are relaunching the Corporate Top 50 Survey in collaboration with Moving Image (and supported by Televisual) to recognise and celebrate corporate filmmakers, and produce data on the sector. To add to this we will also be supporting Moving Image’s survey that will result in the 2022 Brand Film Report. And finally, we will be launching our own industry survey, which will be asking both the live and film sectors to contribute their experiences so we can understand the issues people are facing and the trends people are seeing. The EVCOM survey will also help us to deliver a programme of content, events and support that suit the changing needs of our membership.
We have a packed programme of events too, including a complimentary half-day sustainability training session for EVCOM member with Syntiro Associates which is taking place on the 4th October in Soho. We will be running a procurement focused campfire in October with Tina Fegent and our three part Grow Your Agency masterclass series with Rob King (The Client Key) will begin in November. Our AGM will be a chance for members to have their say, and our invite only Senior Leaders’ Event at The Forum, London Stock Exchange, will bring together business leaders to discuss key issues and hear from our speaker Tom Hinton (Head of Issuer Services and Digital Platform, LSE). Tom will be speaking about how the London Stock Exchange work with and support clients and the unique online platforms that help them do that. Our EVCOM London Live and Film Awards Ceremony will be taking place on the evening of the 3rd November, so make sure it’s in your diaries. You can expect the shortlist and tickets to be released in just a few short weeks! Finally, in December we will be finishing the year with our annual EVCOM Fellowship Awards Lunch, where we honour three Fellows for their contributions to the industry and enjoy a three course dinner at The House of Lords!
