We need a Video Editor to join us full time to work on a variety of short form content – though recently we have been branching out to short films, broadcast docs and features, and aim for this to be a big part of our future.
We are looking for someone who is well versed in working with Premiere Pro. Experience in using After Effects and the wider Adobe suite would be a bonus, though not essential. Colour grading experience is however essential, with experience using DaVinci Resolve being an advantage.
The ability to communicate directly with your teammates and clients is crucial, as is an interest in filmmaking – we are looking for a candidate who can work collaboratively with producers, but also be hands-on with the direction of edits and take projects on on their own. We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised, but most of all passionate about video, with a strong mind for storytelling and creativity in edits.
The position will temporarily involve a degree of remote working, but we will need any candidates to be based in Edinburgh and we are planning to return full time to our office once regulations allow.
