First up, we’re looking for a talented, versatile illustrator to join the team. We need someone to develop style-frames and produce final artwork for a range of 2D animations, using either illustrator or photoshop – or both!
The illustrator we’re looking for will have..

Strong, expressive character design skills

Experience in creating character designs and backgrounds for 2D animation in after effects – knowing how to layer up and prepare illustrations for animation, as well as good organisational skills and file management

The ability to craft artwork in a variety of styles would be a big plus

Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas to producers and animators

The ability to think conceptually and cohesively, helping to lead the direction of animations in the early stages of a project, chipping in with visualising scripts and storyboarding your ideas

Experience in animating in after effects would be a particular advantage, but not essential
The ability to work in our Edinburgh office, once COVID regulations allow it, would would be hugely preferable – however we are open to working with a remote illustrator if the right candidate were to come along
Full Time
1 Year Contract
Salary range: £24,000 – £27,000
