Sam Wilson, Director and Founder – EcoEvents and Event ISO

Sam has been working in the events industry for over 20 years. This experience, together with her academic achievements in psychology and social biology, is channelled into services that help companies improve their business sustainability. This includes the adoption of International Standards including ISO 20121, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001.

Sam specialises in meeting client requirements through strategic business development initiatives and creative staff engagement. She is an experienced presenter, author and workshop facilitator.
Sam is committed to sharing her experience and knowledge with both potential and current professionals in the events and creative communications sector. She has developed a third year event management module in event sustainability that has been accredited by the University of Sussex and is still teaching it herself.

A big believer in her own continual learning, Sam recently achieved her NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate, is currently working towards being a chartered environmentalist and is planning for her Masters next year.

That said, she firmly believes there is no greater way to learn than by getting on and doing it. She has been ‘doing it’ for a while now and can help you in the following areas:
