London, UK – 6th June, 2025 – The Event & Visual Communication Association (EVCOM), the only organisation representing both the live events and visual communications sectors, is delighted to announce the appointment of Kai Duggal as its new Executive Director.
A dynamic innovator with decades of experience spanning media, tech, marketing and communications, Kai brings a fresh and invigorating perspective to EVCOM. He joins at a pivotal moment for EVCOM and the industry—amidst a shifting economic and political climate, rapid advancements in AI, and an evolving landscape for content and events and his eye is on – what’s next.

Kai’s vision is centred around a bold positioning of EVCOM as Built for Now. Leading What’s Next. With his expertise helping high velocity media / tech companies on their growth journey, Kai is excited about bringing the creative and tech worlds closer together. Building on the hugely successful and popular awards events that EVCOM deliver each year – with a particular focus on the Clarion Awards, London Live and Film Awards and the Fellowship Awards, EVCOM will continue to demonstrate the huge talent and opportunity within the industry. His mission is to ensure EVCOM delivers what its members can’t do on their own—by equipping them with the insight, connections, and tools they need to navigate a rapidly changing landscape, grow with confidence, and welcome the Next Generation of Leaders into the industry.
