The UK Top 50 is back for 2026, in Partnership with Moving Image and EVCOM, spotlighting the production companies driving the UK’s world-leading brand video and corporate film sector. Now in its fourth edition, the report has become the definitive benchmark of business performance, ranking the agencies shaping how organisations communicate through the most powerful medium available: film. With a rigorous, data-led methodology and zero subjectivity, the UK Top 50 captures not just success, but momentum, resilience and impact across the industry.
“This data is vital in proving the value of our industry’s content and the impact it delivers for organisations,” said Steve Garvey, CEO at Moving Image. “For too long, the sector hasn’t had a clear, objective benchmark – this changes that.”
As Patrick Russell, Senior Curator at the British Film Institute (BFI), notes in his foreword, film for communication is one of the most demanding, and rewarding, disciplines in the medium. The UK Top 50 celebrates the companies rising to that challenge: the specialists, the innovators, and the workhorses delivering meaningful, effective storytelling at scale. In an industry that helps organisations connect, persuade and inspire, these are the teams setting the pace.
This year’s edition goes further than ever before, combining rankings with deeper industry insight and new features including Pure Video rankings and expanded sector analysis. Drawing on over 60 verified data points, from revenue and peer recognition to awards and output, the report offers a uniquely comprehensive view of a fast-evolving landscape, celebrating the companies setting the pace for an industry that informs, inspires and delivers real-world impact.
“This report reinforces what many of us already know,” added Kai Duggal, Executive Director of EVCOM. “UK corporate and branded content is the best in the world, so the companies in this list are, by definition, among the best globally. The work Moving Image is doing to demonstrate the power and value of the content our industry creates is a real game changer.”
