Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at the EVCOM Clarion Awards this week. In our first ever virtual awards ceremony, we went live from DRPG’s studio and broadcast to over 130 people. Shortlisted entrants sent in their selfies as they celebrated in EVCOM blue and Clarions green! The afternoon kicked off with a live mixology session with Dale Parmenter to get everyone into a celebratory spirit. We then heard from long term partner of the awards, Sam Wilson (Syntiro Associates) who shared her thoughts on exactly why these cause-driven awards are so important.
Samme Allen, our host, then opened the ceremony itself. Across categories including environment, diversity and inclusion and social welfare, Samme and our very own Claire Fennelow, announced the winners for each category. Gold winners saw clips from their films screened for our audience to enjoy!
In a short interval, Dale made another one of EVCOM’s bespoke cocktails, and we were joined by actor and singer, Hannah Brown, who performed ‘At Last’. Then the second half of the ceremony began, and the rest of the awards were announced.
