CEO of DRPG, Dale Parmenter, explains the reasoning for taking on the sponsorship deal. “It’s easy to get caught up in the return of live events, but we need to remember what we’ve learned over the past two years to get to this point. The EVCOM Clarion Awards provide us with a poignant reminder and celebration of all the great projects and initiatives achieved in the tumultuous period that our events and creative industries have been through. With a list of community led and environment focused accolades and awards spanning over 15 years, DRPG has put itself forward to be the leading brand associated with the awards for 2022. The sponsorship comes after the group signed up to the pledge for Net-Zero Events by 2050 during COP-26 in 2021, as well as announcing a personal goal of becoming a net-zero business by 2025.

Parmenter adds, “As an agency who are well accredited when it comes to supporting local communities, internal teams and aligning our output towards the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Goals, ISO14001 & 20211, we are also working towards B-Corp and waiting to hear if we have achieved the Queens award for sustainable growth.
