We gathered up our members in the events industry, from senior leaders to those who have only been working in the industry for a few years, to ask them to share their journeys and top tips for getting ahead in the events industry.
They talked about how broad the industry is. There are so many different sides to it, so do some research and find out which bits really interest you and what you love within it. Learn as many skills as you can, and you will become invaluable in an industry that covers so much. A good attitude and a flair for the creative is also important. They highlight the importance of building your network and connecting with as many people as you can, to help you on your journey.
