Crown Commercial Services (CCS) are the biggest public procurement organisation in the UK. They use their commercial expertise to help buyers in central government and across the public and third sectors to purchase everything from locum doctors and laptops to police cars and electricity – and event and film production services!
As EVCOM members you are invited to express an interest in joining the preferred supplier list in the newly structured procurement process for the Creative/ Communications sector. The CCS would like to encourage a wide range of companies to engage in this process as currently the Events/Film sector are under-represented. This is a timely opportunity to ensure that your business is profiled and visible to a massive purchasing audience with the widest possible remit of opportunity.
The categories open to event and film production companies are Campaign Solutions 2 and Communications Marketplace. In the category, Campaign Solutions 2 which caters to high profile, highly strategic events such as Cop26 and G7, the invitation to tender will be extended on February 24th. In the category Communications Marketplace which caters to events of a smaller scale, the invitation will be extended to tender in July.
The CCS have set up a dedicated email for expressions of interest prior to the tender going out at the end of February which is creativecontentcomms@crowncommercial.gov.uk. Once you have expressed your interest, you will be kept up to date on timings and next steps.
