The EVCOM London Live and Film Awards are officially open for entry and we are really excited to be calling for true creativity and excellence in the corporate film and events sectors once again. And this year, we have introduced some new categories.

Across both schemes, we have introduced two new categories: ‘Rising Star Agency’ and ‘Agency of the Year’. The first category is open to agencies who are less than ten years old, and across both we want to hear about your unique agency character, your growth and your commitment to DEI and sustainability. Both of those categories are FREE to enter. We strongly believe that access to budget should not dictate who is recognised and rewarded for the work they are doing.

In the same vein, the ‘Best Use of a Smaller Budget’ category can now be entered at a discounted rate by both members and non-members, to accommodate the entry of companies working with smaller budgets. You can find the full list of EVCOM London Film categories here.

The most category development we are introducing this year is in the EVCOM London Live Awards. The events industry has gone through seismic change in the last few years, and our new categories adapt to this, recognising growth areas in our industry. All categories are open to in person and hybrid events. There is also a dedicated category for virtual events. New and updated categories include:

Best B2E (Business to Employee) Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of an internal event. This could include a training event, an incentive event, AGM’s, CSR campaigns, internal conferences and celebratory events. Entries should clearly show the event objectives and measurement on how they were achieved.

Best B2C (Business to Consumer) Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of a consumer facing event. This could include a product launch, a brand experience and/or an exhibition. Entries should clearly show the event objectives and measurement on how they were achieved.

Best Virtual Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of a virtual event. Judges will be looking at your overall approach, the tools you utilised, how you engaged with the audience, and its overall success based on any measurement and data you can provide.

Best Use of Production and Technology

Best use of production (sound, music, sets, special effects and lighting) and technology/ digital to make an event stand out. What did you do that was special, how did you execute the solution what difference did it make to the overall audience experience.

Best Agency and Client Collaboration

This award recognises an event that relied upon collaboration between a client and an agency for its success. We want to hear about what both brought to the table and how you worked together to create something brilliant.
