EVCOM is proud to announce that celebrated broadcaster, journalist, and cultural advocate Mariella Frostrup will be honoured as this year’s Communication Fellow at the 2025 EVCOM Fellowship Awards — a recognition reserved for individuals whose influence and integrity have shaped the creative communications landscape.
With a career spanning over four decades, Mariella Frostrup has become one of the UK’s most respected voices in arts, culture, and public discourse. Her work as a presenter, columnist, and campaigner has consistently championed the power of storytelling, the importance of accessibility in the arts, and the need for inclusive representation across media. From fronting flagship programmes on BBC and Channel 4 to serving on judging panels for the Booker Prize, BAFTAs, and Turner Prize, Mariella’s contributions have elevated the cultural conversation and inspired generations of creatives.
Beyond her broadcasting achievements, Mariella is a passionate advocate for gender equality and workplace wellbeing. As the UK Government’s Menopause Employment Ambassador and co-founder of the Women in Work Summit, she has used her platform to drive meaningful change in how organisations support women’s health and career progression.
The EVCOM Fellowship Awards celebrate excellence, leadership, and impact across the live and film sectors. The Communication Fellow title recognises individuals whose public profile has amplified the value of creative communication and whose work embodies the spirit of innovation, empathy, and excellence that EVCOM champions.
