Georgina Kay
I am originally from North Northumberland where I was previously employed as an events assistant supporting academic and student events for Newcastle University, I was their only events staff for their second-largest school, The School of Engineering.
After quitting to pursue my passion in events through my degree, I have consistently achieved a high 2:1 throughout my degree including studying virtually during the pandemic. I am predicted to get a first upon graduation in 2023. I was president of the events society in my second year, I also did a year and a half placement year with Mash Media where I was shortlisted for EVCOM’s first-ever Realise Award in 2021.
