The Role: Junior Production Creative
We’re looking for an ambitious filmmaker to join our team, initially working remotely and joining us on shoots, and eventually based full-time in our London office.
The right candidate will thrive on creative responsibilities: mainly around shooting and editing of corporate and digital film content, with a view to develop writing and directing skills. Supported by an in-house production and post-production team, the successful candidate should possess the following:
- At least 1 year industry experience, working on a variety of film shoots, both self-shooting and as part of a larger crew
- Particular experience with streamlined approaches to production; small crews and tight timelines with consistent quality control
- Technical experience in camera operation, lighting setup and sound recording, especially with Sony FS7ii & A7Siii
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere
- Organisational and project management skills: successfully managing logistics, freelance crew and shoot schedules/shot lists etc.
- Some writing and treatment experience including writing script outlines, narratives, interviews and pitch docs
- Effective communication with clients, colleagues and freelance crew
- An all-round creative eye who is interested in all facets of film production, with an eagerness to learn more
Day to day might entail:
- Leading camera, lighting and technical production on location
- Working with in-house editors to hand off rushes/projects efficiently
- Occasionally directing on suitable projects
- Pitching in on edits where needed, occasionally handling jobs from start to finish including prep, shoot, offline and online editing
- Producing multiple projects across multiple clients effectively
- Working with Moving Image and Creative to brainstorm, ideate and build treatments, as well as supporting departments in the wider business on strategy, live and virtual events
Salary: circa £25k depending on experience
