AMANDA NOLEN, GLOBALLY RENOWNED LEADER IN LEARNING TECHNOLOGY AND THE FUTURE OF WORK JOINS AUSPICIOUS GROUP AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
• An advisor to Google and HSBC, Amanda will work with leadership to drive expansion in
the US and beyond.

communications and change management.

The Auspicious Group is delighted to announce that Amanda Nolen, one of the most widely recognised
leaders in global learning technology and the future of work, has joined the Group as a Non-Executive
Director.
Amanda joins female-owned, four-company-strong Auspicious Group just seven months after its launch,
reflecting the growth and recognition the Group has generated in such a short space of time.
Amanda consults for major global brands like Google and HSBC, and advises investors, funds, startups
and scaleups, particularly those in the learning and skills technology sector. She is also a highly sought
after keynote speaker, as well as author of a LinkedIn course on the Future of Workplace Learning.
Amanda Nolen says: “If we want the future of work to be bright, learning is key. But L&D must deliver
clear value – both for the business and for the employee. All too often, courses and technologies are
being pushed at employees with no clear outcome for either of them.”

As a Non-Executive Director, Amanda will work alongside the Auspicious leadership team of co-CEOs,
Rachel Pendered and Barnaby Cook, and Chair, Mark Killick, to grow the Group in the US and other
international territories.
Nicky Hoyland and Rob Ashcroft, Auspicious’ Global Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Learning Officer
respectively, will also work closely with Amanda. Together, they will ensure DBLX – Auspicious’ digital
custom content business – continues to deliver the cutting-edge learning systems and proprietary
technology for which it has become renowned.
