#EVCOMLives16 to attempt GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title in aid of Meeting Needs

Guests attending this year’s EVCOM Live Awards gala ceremony will have a chance to get themselves in the record books by attempting to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title.

Eschewing the traditional raffle, EVCOM intends to raise money for charity by breaking a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title with the willing support of guests on 18th November at Supernova, London.

EVCOM Vice Chairman Andrew Winterburn says, ‘”We believe that this world record attempt embodies the spirit of our vibrant Live Events industry – fun, creative and inspirational whilst offering a genuine helping hand to a worthwhile charitable cause.”

The charity in question is Meeting Needs – a registered charity founded by leading figures in the UK conference and events Industry. Their objective is to raise funds for worthy causes which may not have the resources without additional contributions.

To be a part of the record breaking attempt all you need to do is book your Live Awards ticket here.  More details regarding the nature of the record breaking attempt will be available after the Awards Shortlist is announced late October.

The EVCOM Live Awards honour outstanding business and consumer events in the UK and globally recognise the very best work by agencies and the clients who commission them.
